About me

I am a researcher at Two Sigma, a systematic investment management firm in New York city where I work on statistical modeling applied to large real-world datasets. Prior to this I was a research scientist at AT&T Labs, where I worked on statistical modeling of network data to detect anomalous behavioral patterns in the Internet. I completed a PhD in Information Theory and Signal Processing at the Wireless Information & Network Laboratory affiliated with Rutgers University. Before that I spent 4 wonderful years studying Electrical Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology Madras. Before coming to New York, I lived in India, Kenya, Nigeria, and Mauritus.
